Molecular Nanovalves

Researchers at the University of Calgary have come up with a fascinating new way to store gas - using a new material that can open and close to trap and release gas on the molecular level.

Wow. This blows my mind. The ability to work with materials at the molecular level feels like the new invention of the wheel. Perhaps a bit late in the game of mankind, but I guess we'll see.
